compassion
An incredibly important concept for those on a spiritual path,
compassion is the feeling of care for other beings, especially
those who are down-trodden, ill or suffering. By showing our
compassion and providing service to back it up, we develop our
Shen and burn Karma while helping another being. Compassion is
an expression of Shen.
